Harri wasn't expecting to hear that. He wasn't the type to think of things like that. He was much too much of an optimist. Not quite sure what to say at first, he gave Tessa a sad face. However, he quickly realized that it might be better not to look so sad. So his mouth kind of tilted upwards in a sympathetic sort of half-smile.
He continued to pat her hand.
"There's absolutely no way?" he asked gently. He knew this must be hard to talk about, but he could also tell that she wanted to talk to him about it.
