Still trying to make sense of something she knew she couldn't understand, Spencer tried to word it, not thinking that he probably knew what he was causing. "It was like... the best high ever and at the same time I... at the same time I was sure I was dying. But it was awesome..!" She laid a hand on his arm. "How do you do it? Or, I don't know, what are you doing?"
As he said something she didn't understand, however, she gave a frown and tilted her head. "What did you just say?" As he leaned in, his lips brushing against his hair as he gave the translation, his words temporarily caused her to pause and think. A few stray thoughts went through her head - she had to be up in the morning, what would Ryan say, she didn't even know this guy - but the memory of what she'd just experienced somehow pushed all these thoughts away. Looking back at this night, she'd blame the alcohol (of which she'd had very little for a night out) but right now she didn't put up much of an argument as he lead her from the table.
Not quite brainwashed, she gave him a smirk as they approached the stairs. "Dude, is this your usual way of picking up girls? 'Cause I wouldn't think it's very successful with the average woman."
