Ally still couldn't look at the stain on the carpet without cringing, she still didn't even know how it had happened! The drop cloth that was always underneath her was right in place, but somehow she'd manage to knock into it at the perfect angle to send the paint, as well as her rinse water off the edge of what was protecting the carpet. Lucky her right.
With a bucket of soap and water next to her, Ally was down on her hands and needs trying to scrub out the pain without spreading it any further than it had already seeped in. There was also a laundry bucket that had a handful of towels covered in paint just piled inside it, obvious proof she'd been at this for a little bit but there was still a lovely red patch on the middle of the carpet.
"I'm in here!" She called out to Zev, glad that the pups were out in the back because she didn't need them running through the house, getting paint on their paws and creating little footprints throughout the rest of the house.
