"Right." She scrunched up her face apologetically, "I meant to tell you I hit you over the head with a frying pan before leaving." Was it too soon for jokes? Hopefully it wasn't, and if it was she'd just kiss his cheek to make it all better.
Looking up at him when he mentioned not just being some girl her only response was to give him a little bump with her shoulder, unable to hide the smile forming on her lips.
"Ooh, fuck off hmm?" Chuckling softly she stopped just short of where her bag was leaning against the wall, "I must really be special if you'd blow everyone off for me, kick them out of the house and all that jazz." Seeing the cocky grin on his face set her more at ease, needing him to slip back into his old self so she could be comfortable.
"One of these times you'll have to show me what all you do in that dark room of yours." Picking up the bag she handed it over to him even though it was lighter than light. A couple shirts, a pair of jeans, and a skirt along with underwear and socks were all that was in the thing. It wasn't huge or anything, just the basics needed to get her by while traveling. "Spending time with my brother was much needed. He even took me to work one of the days, managed to even pet one of the bears."
Her feet were carrying her through the mansion, them treating this place as if it was indeed her home. There was no denying it, she had missed being in Seattle, and she'd missed Dalton.
