Zev couldn't help but smile affectionately at her babbling, not taking offense at anything said. "Don't make an effort for my sake," he pointed out, mussing her hair. The Tylenol was taking effect, thankfully, and so his mood increased a bit. "Besides, for all the awkwardness you and I have been through... I mean, it can't get too much worse." With a light frown, he seemed to consider something. "I think my grammar is broken... That didn't sound good either."
"It's great," he assured her. Then things happened very quickly, at least to someone who was hungover. Zev found himself with Ally clinging to his arm, his other arm around her shoulders in a reflex-like reaction.
