Seeing the teapot, Zev almost looked embarrassed. "I was sure you'd hit me over the head with that thing. But maybe you're planning to do that?" Leading the way down the stairs, he contemplated the choices of transportation. "Well, last time we took a cab... I'd say a walk would just be healthy for us. Besides, we're in Chicago - there's a pizza place around every other corner. Unless you want to get something other than pizza?"
Stepping out onto the sidewalk, he pulled a deep breath and let it out in a sigh. He felt oddly dressed down for a Friday - t-shirt, sweatpants and sneakers weren't part of his usual job outfit. Then again, he wasn't going to work and it wasn't just a regular Friday. Not for the two of them, anyway.
