Andrew nodded at the greeting. "Good morning." His eyes travelled to Zev, and he smiled slightly at his son. "Good morning to both of you."
"Morning, dad," Zev replied before detouring into the kitchen to get a new glass of water, remembering to get one for Ally too, in case she'd want it. Coming back in the living room, he tried to decide what felt more awkward - sitting in the bedoom not looking at each other or being here with his father. It was a tough call. Reaching for a somewhat normal air, he thought the least he could do was introductions.
"Dad, this is Ally. Ally, this is my dad, Andrew."
"Nice to meet you, Ally," Andrew said, the smile still on his lips, but kind now, rather than questioning.
