"Oh... Yeah, sure, let me go get them." Great excuse for getting out of bed without seeming rude. It wasn't that he didn't want to be there, or... well, let's keep it to that it was a welcome break from the awkwardness for a minute. Grabbing a pair of sweatpants and pulling them on, Zev tossed the towel on the desk chair again as he left the bedroom - running into his dad in the kitchen. Smiling a very forced smile, Zev opened the correct cupboard to get the Tylenol. As he caught sight of the clock on the microwave, he nearly had a heart attack. 10:17am.
"Shit..!" he hissed, more to himself than anything.
"They called from your work," Andrew spoke up from behind him. "Said you didn't have to come in today. I figured I wouldn't wake you to tell you that."
Looking completely nonplussed, Zev managed to blurt out a 'thank you' before turning to the counter again, filling a glass with water.
"Rough night?" his father asked, eyeing the pain killers.
"You could say that... I'm going back to bed for a while."
Andrew had nothing to object to this, and Zev returned to the bedroom, offering the medicine and water to Ally before sitting down on the bedside.
