Jack glanced over at the trunk, which he'd closed after shoving the last of the gear inside. He must have packed and re-packed it six or seven times to make everything fit. Tessa's bag would probably have to find a home up front. "It's looking good down here," he said, nodding towards the car. "I filled the cooler up halfway, which should keep things cool enough for now, but before we get to the campsite we'll probably need to stop again to top it off."
They were going to one of the State Parks which usually had general stores on site, though they weren't going to one of the more populated camp sites. Supplies would be nearby, but they wouldn't be disturbed. It was going to be one hell of a weekend.
"I think that's all we need, now that you're here," Jack said, nudging Boomer into the back and closing the door behind him. "Let's get out of here."
