She'd fallen asleep on the couch, curling up into the pillows she'd left there to help when her back needed extra support. The little tinkerings and sounds he was making in the garage weren't even phasing her like she thought they might, but that was probably because he wasn't out there pounding around like assumed. When Jade finally woke up it had been nearly four hours since they'd had their argument, her stomach waking her with a rumbling. Sitting up it only took a few minutes for her to realize that Jesse was still out in the garage, a small frown appearing on her face. The last thing she'd wanted to start was an argument.
Getting up off the couch Jade went into the kitchen to the fridge, figuring Jesse would come back inside when he was ready to, and that she should work on the grumbling going on in her stomach. The only thing was, every time she opened the fridge the roast beef stood out, and if she happened to be hungry, maybe Jesse was too. So finally she just pulled out the meat, tomatoes, and lettuce to make her fiance a sandwich just like he liked, even with buttered bread.
And thats why she was currently standing on the two stairs that led down into the garage, the saucer and plate in her hand as he looked back to see her. "Hi." Lifting the plate a little higher she managed to get down the stairs, "Thought you might be hungry." Shuffling over to the workbench to set the plate down she turned to look at him, offering a small smile before moving to him to kiss his cheek then turned to start back inside the house, not wanting to invade his space.
