It seemed the baby knew the perfect times to start getting even a little bit fussy. Just as Cassie had made it into the kitchen to refill her drink Danny started to softly start the little baby whining...which was just too cute in Tessa's opinion, though others would most likely disagree. Gently shushing the baby and rocking him softly in her arms (completely ignoring the guys conversation of bands, mind you) her eyes looked up at her friend, "I think someone wants his mommy."
Waiting until Cassie was all settled back on the couch, the new drink safely set somewhere the puppies wouldn't spill it, Danny was passed back to his mom, Tessa sitting and just watching the two for a brief second before standing up off the couch. "You guys keep talking, I'll be right back." She excused herself and headed back to the bathroom, shutting the door behind her to simply lean against the sink, taking a deep breath.
Since finding out she most likely wouldn't ever be able to have children she found herself having moments where the shock and sadness of it all would just wash over her completely, hitting her like it had the first time she'd heard the news. Unfortunately seeing Cassie, Harri, and Danny tonight triggered it, the view of something she wouldn't be able to have...at least not like they did. A little piece of each of them making something so precious. But tonight was a fun night! No need to bring herself or anyone else down with it. After about five minutes of deep breathing in the bathroom, she turned on the water to wet her face, dried off, and was on her way back into the living room, a smile plastered on her face as she sat on the edge of the chair next to her husband.
