Who: Brooklyn Baxter and Carter Dalton (Ballerina Figurine and The Wizard of Oz)
What: Her moving into her new apartment in NY
When: Tuesday Afternoon
Where: Apartment in NY
Rating: PG-13?
It'd been a busy week for Brooke! First she'd found someone else to run her dance studio while gone, then she'd packed up most of her belongings to ship off to New York, and since she was mostly terrified of flying she went on a two day drive to what would be her new temporary home. At least it would be for the duration of the show she was in, once it was over she was most likely going to go back to her place above her dance studio. Two things she wasn't ever going to give up.
Anyway!
Pulling up outside the apartment building she went inside to finish the last bit of paperwork, then grabbed the keys and walked to the elevator that led to the top floor of the apartment building. After finding the right door she unlocked it, propped it open then looked around for the first time since finding it online. It had looked nice enough, so long as it really had the private stairway to the roof she would be happy with it! Once the thorough look was done she started the trips up and down the stairs with her boxes, those being the only things she had to carry up the stairs, having left the HUGE things at home. There was no one in NY to help her move them up to her place, so she'd just order a bed and couch as well as everything else. Until then she had a nice little blow up mattress to sleep on!...And eat on, and sit on, and do everything else on.
After about an hour of going back and forth her arms were giving in, but she only had a few boxes left to carry. Taking a deep breath she picked up the box, making a grunting noise since she hadn't realized how heavy it was, and started to carry it into the apartment building. About halfway up the front stairs to the place the box started to slip, causing her to have to lean against the railing so the box (filled with breakables mind you) wouldn't fall to the ground. Sadly though, she didn't have the strength to lift it from there, meaning she was stuck.
