"Engaged in the riveting world of Olympic sport," Brian replied with a shrug, not really caring if it sounded pathetic. He'd had enough patheticism for one evening, since he'd been stood up. "Even obscure sports like synchronized diving or trampolining can't get me to change the channel. My tv's been on, in the background, tuned to NBC, for days now." Brian reached a hand behind his head to rub his neck, wondering for a moment if there were other people so engrossed with their televisions over the past few weeks.
"Obviously you're lacking something entertaining, if you came here sniffing around for something to do." If he had to make a list of the Most Entertaining Siblings, he'd surely put himself near the bottom. Brian was funny, and not as snippy as Jared. Maybe she was desperate?
