Christian wasn't a nice guy, to put it lightly. Sure, he could act it like the best of them, if that's what it took to get what he wanted. But when it came to a few select women in his life, he'd do anything for them. He could count that number on one hand. If anyone were to wrong them in anyway, he'd make sure they'd end up in an alley somewhere, praying for death. Or he'd screw their life up to no end. No questions asked. Clarabelle was definitely one of those few. Yes, he was well aware that she was more than capable of handling things on her own, but that wouldn't stop him. That was also something he valued in her.
Though he was still shocked that she would let something like getting pregnant happen to her, that wasn't going to change his opinion of her one bit. So when he could tell she was obviously upset, he wasn't going to let her be upset for too long if he had anything to do with it.
After a short conversation over journals, Christian decided it was time for her to do something to cheer up. He took off early that night (he was his own boss; he could do that if he so desired), got in his car, and drove over to her place. He noticed her car parked in front, so he figured she had to be home. He parked and got out, and as he approached the penthouse, the light inside confirmed that. Most would use a cell phone, but he had a feeling she would shrug it off. He rang the doorbell and cleared his throat as he waited patiently out front.
