Once the detergent was poured in, she closed the lid and put all the knobs to their proper settings. She took what little articles of clothing that she would have to hand wash and put them back in the laundry basket. Turning around, she walked back through the kitchen.
Although once out of it, she spotted the flowers on the coffee table. They were absolutely gorgeous, and whoever had left them knew what her favorite flowers were... But the question was, who were they from, and how the hell did they get there? She froze, staring at them for a few seconds before turning her head to look at the front door behind her. They weren't there five minutes ago. She shuffled over to the door and opened it, poking her head out but seeing no one. She gave the hallway a confused look, then closed the door and locked it this time.
She walked over to the flowers and picked them up, giving them a quick sniff as she looked for a card. None. She smiled a little at the flowers, pleased at receiving them. She looked over to her left side, around that half of the room... and then once she looked to the right, she could see into her bedroom, and saw him standing there. She jumped and gasped, nearly dropping the flowers, but recovered fast enough to control them. "Oh my God, you scared me!" She put down the flowers carefully, not wanting to ruin them. Then she took a few steps towards him. Yeah, she was upset that it had been so long since she'd seen him, but... he'd gotten her flowers, and... he was there. She wasn't going to be upset with him right now. Give it a moment, and she might change her mind. "Hi." She didn't really even know where to start.
