Who: Emma and Sean Ratcliff What: Welcome home surprise! Where: Their home in Seattle. When: Thursday, June 26, 2008 - around 7pm Rating: PG-13? Not too high, I don't think. Status: Complete Log
Sean had gone to his parents house and told his dad how he exactly felt about the contract he was made to make Emma sign. The conversation was short, and hardly sweet. There was some rough words told, and Sean ripped the contract up and threw onto his Father's office desk. Ending the conversation with a If you wont trust Emma, you can just go on and fuck off. and, leaving after that. So there he was, now at his home, walking up the drive way with a cute, adorable boy, Husky puppy. Emma and himself talked about pets. And she didn't like small dogs, and he saw this adorable thing, and couldn't pass it up.
So now he was walking through that door, setting the dog down at his feet and then his bag was set down on the floor by the door. "BABY!" He yelled out. "I'm home! And I got you a present! You'll love it!" He said as he stepped foward as the puppy stuck close to his feet looking around and sniffing.
For the last couple of hours, Emma had been impatiently waiting to hear her husband come through the front door. He'd told her that he would be home around six that evening but she'd been unable to stop herself from looking for him at 4:30pm. The minutes slowly ticked by and when six finally rolled around, she was waiting out in front of the house, as if he was going to magically appear.
It was a disappointment but, fifteen minutes later, he'd yet to show. She sighed heavily before making her way back into the house. Really? Waiting outside? That was stupid, anyway, right?
After pacing around the house for a bit, she was hit with the strong urge to pee and, wouldn't you know it, that was when Sean decided to make his big debut.
"I'm coming!" she called excitedly as she rushed to wash her hands and get out of the bathroom. "I'm... in here... I'm coming!" She heard nothing about a present... there was only Sean and the fact that he was home.
She ran through the house to him, barely slowing her pace before flinging herself into his arms and kissing him soundly. Really, it was unhealthy that she'd been him so much. It had only been a few days.
Sean caught his wife after stepping foward. His lips instantly kissing her. He had missed the hell out of her. Beyond anyone could tell. The couple few days with her sister wasn't bad, but he loved his wife. He let the kiss linger awhile before he was interupted by a cute bark. That's right the puppy.
"Emma, our new house guest." He nudged down. "I was thinking you could name him. And he can be our new family member." He smiled as he kissed her again. His hands gripping at her shirt. Not wanting to release her, but only to let her go if she went down to the puppy.
Emma was so caught up in greeting her husband that she hadn't noticed the little, furry creature dancing around his feet. She'd been looking forward to this moment since he'd left and it was difficult to focus on anything other than kissing him.
Until the bark. When the puppy barked, her brow furrowed and she was forced to pull away.
If it was possible, the light in her eyes shined brighter when she saw their little bundle of joy wagging from head to toe.
"It's... Sean... you..." She kissed him, again. How could she not? He'd brought her a puppy! The most adorable puppy she'd ever seen, to be specific.
Instantly, she was bending down and swooping the little fur ball out of the floor. "Sean, he's perfect!" she exclaimed, already pressing an affectionate kiss to the top of his head. "I love him!" For good measure, she stepped closer to her husband and kissed him again. Excited? Yeah, that word didn't even begin to explain what Emma was.
"I have more good news too." He stated as he left his bag where it was as he wondered to the kitchen. He need a cold one. A welcome home cold beer. Fuck anything else at this moment. He figured. He got his love from Emma. And he gave her the first gift. He smiled more though, that she loved the furry puppy. The damn fuzz ball. He looked back as she looked almost like a mother. Though with it being a dog of course.
Slowly Sean had turned around from the fridge with the bottle of beer in hand and stare at her. "I love you baby." He stated taking a drink from the bottle. Then he leaned on the counter. "I tore it up baby." He stated closing his eyes. As he replayed yelling at his father, and shredding those disgusting papers. "I destroyed them like no tomorrow." He looked up to her. And when she gave a puzzled look. He spoke again.
"The contract. There is no need for you to sign that bull shit." He started. "I love you and you love me. And I know you're not in this for money." He smiled. "And my father is just going to have to see that. Because I will never. Ever. Tell you to do something like that again. I swear to our love that I wont." He reached his hand out for her to come to him.
"Yeah? What's that, baby? That you're home to take care of my every need?" Emma could help teasing him softly as she followed him to the kitchen. He'd told her that she was welcome to attack him the second he came through the door. Obviously, that plan had backfired but... puppy!
Regardless of what he'd said, her brow furrowed slightly when he told her that he loved her. That didn't sound like good news. She could never grow tired of hearing those words from him but she was almost holding her breath as she waited for him to add to that statement. I love you but....
What he did add didn't exactly clear her confusion any. So, she stood there and just... looked at him. He'd tore what up, exactly? What had he destroyed?
Of course, his explanation was forth coming and she couldn't hide the huge grin that swept over her features. "You... you didn't have to do that," she began explaining almost instantly. "I... it was just a stupid piece of paper, baby. It..." Her words were useless. She couldn't hide how happy she was to hear that. It meant the world to her to know that he trusted her.
She eagerly closed the distance between them and brushed her lips lovingly over his. "I love you," she murmured softly. "So much." The puppy took the opportunity to lick over Sean's chin and Emma couldn't help giggling. "He loves you, too."
He returned the happy kisses back to Emma, and even laughed lightly when the puppy licked his chin. "The dog better love me." He teased rubbing behind the puppy's ear. Scratching and grinning. He planted another kiss on her kips and then her cheek. "So speaking of, loving me, and me being a great husband." He started as he planted a kiss onto her lips. He cooed some removing the puppy from her arms, then breaking their kiss. He set the little boy down, and it scampered across the floor to venture the house. Yipping and barking. He turned back to his wife instantly pushing against her, and moving her against the counter.
"I love you. With all my heart. I don't need those papers. We don't need those papers. We're in love." He kissed her. "That's all that matters." He shook his head. "Not my parents. Not yours." He kissed her again. "Us. And our family. OUR family." He cupped her face with his hands and pushed a long passionate kiss against her lips. "I just love you. So much, and I'm glad that you're with me."
"Of course, he loves you," she teased softly, a playful smile playing over her face. "He has to... you brought him to me, didn't you?"
She returned each of his kisses without hesitation and refrained from whining softly as he pulled the puppy out of her arms and set him on the floor. "Speaking of loving you," she mocked softly, her smile turning slightly mischievous, "and you being an amazing husband..."
Her words were cut off when his lips pressed to hers and he pushed her back against the counter, but she didn't protest in the slightest. Ninety-nine percent of the time, talking was very overrated.... especially when the alternative was this.
"I love you, too. We don't..." she was shaking her head as she spoke but then he was kissing her again and she lost whatever it was she'd been trying to say. "All that matters," she agreed, obviously distracted. Emma purred softly when he pulled her into a long, passionate kiss. "No where else I'd rather be," she breathed before pulling him into another, deep kiss.
He'd only been gone a few days. Why did it feel like she'd been without him for months?
Sean's hands were trailing along her body as his lips kept pushing against hers more and more. He may of been gone for only a few days, he did miss her far more than normal. He wasn't quite sure what he would do while he was out on tour. It seemed everyday, him and his wife were growing closer and more tightly spun relationship. But in all actuality, it was probably more than him being home that was causing this loving affection. In his mind, it was the fact that he pulled the thing that was keeping them seperate from the middle. That contract. His family. It was now just them. And that was what mattered. His hands trailed along her thighs, and along up to her ass. And soon she was lifted up to him, as he was on his way carrying her to the bedroom. The kitchen wasn't the place for them to do this.
Yes, maybe, if they were going to being horny, and fucking like rabbits. But this, this was more. This is where he was showing his love to her. As soon as they had entered the room, he was laying her down with grace, not throwing her down ready to have her. His touch as it trailed over her body was soft and easy. Caring, and loving. Something more special.
That contract hadn't been between them. Emma hadn't given it that much power. She'd signed a few papers. Excluding the initial emotion of hurt that had swept over her, what had happened that day was completely unimportant. The only thing that mattered was that they loved one another. That was a fact that no contract could change. Not on her end, anyway.
As always, she reacted perfectly to his touch. The fingers sliding up her thighs, the way he lifted her off the floor... everything he did pulled a gasp or moan from her chest. Her arms wrapped loosely around his shoulders as he carried her away from the kitchen. She pulled her mouth from his an began pressing hungry kisses along his neck and jaw.
They'd screwed many times since they'd met but that was not what they did this time around. Each brush of lips and fingers were filled with emotion and passion. For once, it wasn't just about getting off. It was the act of love at its finest. They made love until Emma was moaning through a painstakingly built release. Even after they'd both finished, she didn't let him pull away. She wanted to keep him this close for as long as she possibly could.
"Did I tell you how much I missed you?" she questioned softly, her utter contentment showing in her tone.
Sean hadn't let the contract break them apart. But he wasn't going to let it be a cause of them being torn apart. He knew Emma loved him, he knew he could trust her. So there was no need for those papers to be there.
And even though, they'd had sex, they had fucked, they had screwed. This act was completely different. It wasn't about the thrill, it wasn't about the excitement, it wasn't about getting off. It was about what made them love each other. It was all about him and her, and being togeather. And through the act, it never left from the tender care of each other. And even when he was finished, he didn't want to be from her, and as she kept him close, he pushed closer, wanting to feel her lips. His lips pressing against hers and holding place, he responded to her. "I think you did just showed me." He smiled as he kissed her more. "I love you Emma.."
Her legs tightened around his hips, pulling him just a little closer as she continued brushing her lips softly over his. "I love you, too," she returned instantly as a goofy little smile moved over her features. "If that was how much I missed you. How much did you miss me?"
Would Emma push for a second round even though she was completely sated? Hell yeah. Especially since she hadn't be so much as looked at by anyone in the last few days.
She pressed her lips to his for emphasis but she didn't get too far with that gesture. During his wanderings the newest addition to their house had found his way into their room and he was suddenly perched at the edge of the bed, barking for their attention.
A bright grin moved over her features. During everything else, she'd nearly forgotten about her puppy. Wiggling a little, she shifted over to the edge of the bed so that she could look down at him. "Aww... are you lonely, little man?" she cooed softly. "Did we forget about you?"
Could she help that she was easily distracted by the cuteness?
Sean grinned at the coaxing of her wanting to get a second round. And at the moment as he was going to start coaxing her into getting him ready for it. He heard a yip. He blinked. Then it dawned on him. They did have a dog now. He giggled, as he rolled with his wife to pet the puppy. "So, did we think of a name yet doll?" He looked to her. Then he smiled more. The dog was surely trying to devour his hand with it's tongue.
Then his stomache was growling. Screaming almost. "I'm hungry.." He voiced aloud. He looked to her. "How about I make us some dinner, and then we can have dessert." He glanced at her with a devilish grin. Hinting his dessert, which would be amazing. Seeing they both wanted a second go about. He slowly stood up and stretched. Walking off towards the kitchen.
Yes, he was about to make dinner, naked.
Emma grinned as she cooed to their little baby. "No, I haven't picked a name for him, yet," she spoke in a tone that might have suggested she was speaking to a baby. "I hardly know him. We've got to get to know one another, don't we sweetheart?"
She looked back to her husband when his stomach growled loudly. "You think? Either you're hungry or something is about to crawl out of your bellybutton and devour me." She giggled softly when he took off toward the kitchen.
"I bet you're hungry to. Aren't you, little man? We need to get you a little din din, don't we?"
She pulled on the t-shirt she'd taken off of Sean a little while before and padded after her husband.
"Hope you're cooking something puppy friendly," she called.
