Teddy gave her hand a gentle squeeze as he bit the inside of his cheek lightly, heading outside as he let out the smallest of sighs. Thank God for having little parks within walking distance, right? It made things tons and tons easier for him in the long run. He'd thought and planned all of this out perfectly, or at least he HOPED he had, and hadn't said much to her about it. He just... ugh. Talk about role reversal, right?
Pressing his tongue against his teeth, Teddy fought the urge to grin again. Of course, he ended up failing miserably and a loud laugh escaped his lips as he shrugged his shoulders and looked at her innocently. "No? I really thought they were interesting," he said as his face quickly became 'serious'. "It's a shame that they're going away now." His face and body relaxed when she kissed him and he gently ran his thumb across her cheek, leaning in to kiss her forehead lightly. "Well, then," he said as he pulled away and smiled softly. "I'm happy I could do that for you."
Shaking his head to clear his thoughts, he smiled at her again. "Well... yeah," he agreed with a chuckle as he rubbed the back of his neck. "Love them all to death, obviously, sanity or not... but yeah. Crazy kids." His nose wrinkled before he went on. "It's sad that they make the kid who kidnapped people in high school look sane." He shook his head again and laughed. "But you're the one related to a kid who... blew up a car and survived and has no idea how he did it. Then again? Gertie could probably pull something like that off without any sort of problem, so..." Another sigh. "Wouldn't have her any other way, obviously, but geez."
