Hannah wanted to just leap into his arms and hold him tightly to her. She wanted to just live in never ending bliss with Joseph, and just to imagine that nothing else in the world existed besides the two of them.
She understood it all, but she didn't understand Claudia. She knew that herself and Joseph were together - it all seemed a little fishy to her, to be honest, but she wasn't going to tell Joseph this. He may get annoyed or angry or something, so she'd keep her mouth shut.
Hannah was frustrated that he had done it so easily while she had struggled. She took the rope and knotted it like he told her to, and then stepped back to stare at it. "Thank you," she said politely, not wanting to be rude, at least. "I love them but they're really no help when it comes to putting one of these things up," she said offhandedly. "Have fun?" she asked, obviously referring to the beach trip. Hannah went to the tire and sat herself within it, her tiptoes scraping the ground as she rocked back and forth.
