All that talk about her being a threat had really screwed him, especially when you added in Nancy being such a bitch and comparing them. Kaela had mentioned that there had to be an attraction for there to be an sort of threat, and he'd found her attractive since that day in science class that they'd caused an explosion and neither of them could stop laughing. And then there'd been mention of all that stuff about finding girls fun and whatnot, which he did with her. He couldn't remember a time not having fun with her. There was only one thing he could think of left to determine whether she should really be considered a threat or not.
Without really thinking much (because seriously? How much could he be thinking with what he was about to do?) he lifted a hand back up, doing the hair thing again as he leaned in and brushed his lips against hers in a soft kiss. If there was a spark, she was a threat, if not it was just going to be chalked up as one awkward moment of many between best friends.
