Lucas gently pulled her closer against him, not out of his normal tendencies to try and hit on women, but instead he just wanted to hug her, even if this was an odd way to hug someone. Any contact was good contact for him right now, as not many people had been able to get through to him over the past couple of months, and holding Tamsyn almost seemed natural given their past together.
"Well, you see.. I've always been smart," he smirked, draining the rest of the amber liquid in the beer bottle before leaning across to set it on the coffee table, creating a hollow sound as he did so. Lucas settled back into the couch with Tamsyn, and heaved a great sigh from his chest.
"When did you learn to know that I'm smart then, hm?" he teased, gently squeezing her. "What do you think you're gonna do about Guy, then?"
