Of course he was right. As far as Nate was concerned he was right a lot of the time. So it was either ask her to stay and deal with the aftermath of that, or let her go and deal with how crap that was going to be. It really did seem like a lose/lose situation here, but at least if she went she'd be happy. Well, as happy as one could be without Nate around that is. "Oh but you can. It's obvious."
And now all he had to do was wait for the time when she falls asleep. Which reminded him that he should probably bring that up again sometime if things didn't seem to be improving. Right now though? Drama could wait. He was already feeling a bit tired from just thinking about all of this, if he admitted to such things it might be a hint of being emotionally drained. Yay for things only getting worse from now! "That's because it's true," he stated before moving on. "You are extremely lucky. A life without me would suck." Of modesty. Totally nonexistent.
Nodding he gave a small smile. "Sure, that works," but ugh. Planning this stuff was going to suck just because it meant facing the fact it was happening. Luckily most of this could be thought about later? Or well, could be. "Eh, I'd still watch it if you were in it," he said with a small shrug. "Yeah, that's true. Just get all the studying done in one hit and then take a break," which right now was exactly what nate was planning to do. If his parents wouldn't let him take a break now he'd damn well take it as soon as he could.
