Oh, God. She'd rather deal with silence than him leaving. Silence? She expected. She could handle it. Leaving? Yeah, no. In general, she hated people walking away from her, let alone at a time like this. Thank God he didn't do that, because... she'd have not taken well to it. At all.
Watching him, she sighed and bit the inside of her cheek. Hard. The same things were running through her head, but like him, she found herself completely unable to say anything. How could she? Nothing she could say or do could make this right or better or... ugh. "I can still always stay," she said. "Go to college, be normal and all of that."
"Yeah," she said quietly. "Or, we still could for the time being since I know you want to get out, but... I won't be there and..." A frown. "I wouldn't want you to be alone." Laughing lightly, just barely, at his question she nodded. "Yeah," she said with the slightest bit of a smile. "Some of the time, anyway. I'd be staying in some places way longer than others, so you could come out and see me then. So, there's that."
