Ashleigh was definitely a shy girl and that specific trait seemed to shine brightest when she was around someone of the opposite sex... especially when that someone was confident and this guy was definitely self-assured.
She floundered a little when he plucked the book from her fingers but she didn't exactly protest. As a matter of fact, she didn't say anything as he flipped through the pages, she was too focused on fighting the blush that was definitely covering her cheeks to actually speak.
When his full attention was turned back to her, she blinked again. How had he done that? Was "INEXPERIENCED" stamped on her forehead? Did she look like she would be bad in bed?
"Not exac... um... kind of?" Once the book was back in her possession, she hurriedly shoved it back on the shelf before sliding her hand into his. "Ashleigh," she returned automatically. She really wanted to ask him why he'd instantly jumped to such a conclusion but she controlled herself. "Nice to meet you," she offered helplessly.
