"It has to do with the reason why I don't have much faith in her. Have you ever heard the fable The Scorpion and the Frog? Where the scorpion needs away to cross the river, and tries to convince a frog to carry him. The frog is wary of the scorpion, because it's a scorpion. It thinks it'll sting him. The scorpion says that if he did that, they would both drown, so the frog trusts him. Once they are half way across, the scorpion stings him. The frog asks why, because now they're both going to die. The scorpion says 'I can't help it. It's in my nature'. Scarlett's the scorpion. If ever she does anything nice for anyone, she has to turn around and do something terrible to someone else. That's why I don't trust her. I love her. She's my sister, but there are something's that she just can't be trusted with." He looked out her window behind him, chin resting on his fist. He wished he didn't have to argue with her like this when she was sick, but there was no other way.
