As the other woman walked in Alyssa nodded her head, "I'm sorry about that." She was referring to almost coughing in Scarlett's face. Closing the door she pulled the blanket off her shoulders and started to somewhat fold it before draping it back across a chair and following her into the kitchen, picking up the couch syrup and started to take off the plastic safety thing.
"Oh thank you so much." Trying to offer the other girl a smile she got about halfway there before it hurt and figured she'd understand. "I've got ginger ale but that isn't doing the trick." She was standing there trying to get the childproof lid off the bottle but just wound up making it do that annoying sound when the lid was just spinning in circles. "Maybe I'll just stop coughing and won't need it." You could h ear the stuffy in her voice.
