Who: Topher Lyons and Brian Farmer What: Beer and Talk. Where: Topher's Mansion When: Monday night
Topher was sitting out in front of his split-level wooden frame, rolling his skateboard under his feet as he waited for Brian's car to show up. If he was going to be honest with himself, he'd probably never been so worried about Brian before, and that was something he didn't think he'd ever have to contemplate. Brian was the sensible one, the one who had it together. He could talk to girls, had a regular job and was following his dream. Topher didn't know much about his family - but he assumed it was good.
Maybe all this assumption was a bad thing.
After a moment he stood up, and started to do little jumps and twists on the smooth front circle of his driveway. Nerves, what? Never.
