Denim looked in the mirror and smoothed the white fabric of her dress, smiling at her reflection and how well the wedding gown fit her. It was the most perfect design she'd had to date, and one that she wanted to keep on display for years to come. Picking up her veil off the table she heard the door to her dressing room creak open and turned over to see who it was, grinning at Jay and how handsome he looked in the tux she'd picked out for him. The tie he was wearing matched the bridesmaid dresses, they had to see he was her man of honor. "You look great Jay." Turning around she walked over towards him and gave him a hug.
"Dove, you look...absolutely amazing."
Pulling out of the embrace she held up her veil in a silent asking of his help and then turned so he could put it on for her, her hands coming up to help get the front right and everything else just fell in place. Once it was one she felt his hands on her upper arms and he was leaning in close.
"Don't."
"Ja-"
"Don't do it. Not with him. He'll never love you like I do There's still time..."
"Don't do this Jesse. Not today of all days." Her eyes were starting to glaze over as she looked at him in the mirror.
"Please Dove. I know you love me. We both know that I'm the one, not him. Come with me?"
Denim was no longer sleeping, in fact she was sitting straight up in bed, one hand pushing the hair back out of her eyes as she looked around the room. "What the fuck?" Glancing at the clock she saw that it was four in the morning and there was no way in hell she'd be going back to sleep now. That dream...she didn't know why she'd had that dream. Yes she'd loved Jesse at one time but that was long ago and Hunter had stolen her heart. Looking down at her engagement ring she ran one finger over it and spun it in circles. Before she knew it she had her cell phone in her hand and was calling Hunter, knowing that she needed him. Denim needed to get every single part of the dream out of her mind and he'd do it for her. If she had her way she wouldn't know the reasoning behind needing to be with him at four in the morning but he'd still help her.
