"Ty!" She yelled after him as he opened the door. She was not going to let him just walk away, because there would be no telling when he'd pop back up again. In her anger, she'd forgotten that he could find out anything he wanted about her with his job. If he wanted to, he'd see her again.
But she got up, and followed him, grabbing his wrist before he could get too far into the diner. She pulled him to try and get him closer to her so she could have to speak too loudly. "I don't expect you to be happy about this. I don't expect everything to be fine. It's not fine, but I had to tell you. I can't let you just walk out of my life again and not tell you." She said it in a hushed voice, but it was stern, and she knew he could hear her. He never had a problem with not being able to hear her even when she was whispering.
