Joseph was a little taken aback when he answered the door only to have his sister sweep past him without so much as a greeting.
"Well, hello, little sister," he stated in a deep voice. "Hello, big brother," he mocked in a higher pitch voice after he closed the door and turned so that he could watch her move about his room. "How are you little sister?" "I'm fine, big brother." "It's nice of you to stop by, little sister." "It's good to see you, big brother."
With each sentence, the pitch in his voice changed and he was still standing there by the door, mocking her, when she took a seat on his bed and held a bowl out to him.
"Spill about what?" he asked, finally dropping the act and crossing the room so that he could sit beside her. "What do you want to know?"
As much as he welcomed the company, he was not particularly looking forward to talking about everything that had happened. His side of the story didn't exactly paint him in a good light... but, at least, he didn't have to fear being punched by his own sister.
