Claudia noticed that he didn't answer anything about himself, but she decided not to push him right now. Matty knew he could talk to her and he'd let her know when he was ready. She wasn't going to try and force him.
"Oh, it'll be good to see you. Chicago is kind of boring when you're not around, you know," she teased, though it was true. There weren't really words to explain how much she missed Matty when he was gone.
She laughed at his question and it was good that he'd offered his truck. She didn't really fancy asking Joey to borrow the car to pick up his (former?) best friend who'd punched him and a guy who -if she knew Ed- would be likely to hit him again.
"I think I could be talked into it," she answered, the grin on her face growing a bit.
