"Gotta love 'em, huh?" He asked with a laugh. "It'd be so weird for either of our families to be normal. And I'm fine with doing that..."
Teddy frowned just a bit when she went silent, brow scrunched as he looked down at her. He wanted to open his mouth to speak, to break the awkward silence, but before he could, he noticed that look on her face. He couldn't help smiling back at her, an awkward and crooked sort of grin as he shifted his arms a bit.
... and then she said it.
Eyes went a little wide as he looked back at her, mouthing wordlessly as he tried to think straight and properly but he couldn't. He just couldn't! A part of him thought he'd made the words up in his head (again) and that he hadn't actually heard them.
But he had, he had, and he couldn't remember being happier in his life. A low laugh escaped his lips as his arms tightened just a bit as his own smiled grin. He let out another breath, trying to think of what to say, but he couldn't think of a word. His head was cloudy and his mind was spinning, but he had to say something, didn't he?
So, he decided to stop thinking for a moment and looked back down at her. "Really?" He said with the slightest hint of hopefulness in his tone as he reached a hand up to brush the hair from her face. "You..." A pause. "I've been waiting for ever to actually hear that."
