Hannah let herself fall into his arms, her forehead pressing against his shoulder. Her arms slipped tightly around his neck as she held herself close to him, the tears spilling out quickly again. "He.. hates.. me.." she stammered breathily.
Hannah pulled away, and shook her head as well. "You need ice, or you're going to look like the elephant man," she smirked weakly.
She released herself from his grasp, and crawled like a toddler over to the small fridge in her dorm. Pulling out a sandwich baggie, she dumped some ice into it, and wrapped a wash cloth around it. Hannah struggled to stand, but she managed it, and extended her hand down to Joseph. "Maybe you should lay down," she pointed out, nodding to her bed. "You can stay here tonight."
