Joseph's arms tightened around her when she murmured her agreement and he deepened the kiss a little more. He wouldn't say that they'd done this too terribly often but he was completely certain that he'd never grow tired of it.
He might have made a little noise of protest when she pulled back from the kiss but he didn't push to deepened it again. Like her, he worked to slow his breathing and gather his thoughts as their foreheads rested together and his lips continued to press softly, almost lovingly, to hers.
"Hannah," he murmured quietly after a moment. "I really care about you. There's... there's nothing I wouldn't do for you, you know."
He didn't know why but he was hit with the urge to assure her that this was not the only reason he enjoyed being around her. She wasn't just a means to an end, for him. She was Hannah... his Hannah... the only girl he'd ever really wanted these things with.
