Joseph wouldn't have minded if she would've run around with a squeal. Sure, he would have wondered if she'd lost her marbles but he seemed to think that everything about her was completely and utterly adorable.
"I've been studying you enough," he admitted, almost a little embarrassed by his honesty. "Why do you think I never grab those little packs of ketchup when I bring burgers and fries?"
Hannah hated ketchup. She had for as long as he had known her. Sure, it was a silly thing to remember after so many years apart but it was something he'd never forgotten.
"I think you're right," he agreed with a smile as he began shifting to her side of the blanket. "Though..." Once he was beside her, he paused for a moment and just looked at her. "You're so much more distracting when you're so close."
Joseph was slowly growing accustomed to not fighting his urges when he was near her and that showed when he leaned in and began brushing his lips over hers.
