Lyla might have giggled at the way he was hovering near the heater if she hadn't been so amused and she took his offered hand without even thinking about it. Getting warm was overriding her good sense at the moment.
"Thanks," she told him, looking up at him with an almost shy, definitely grateful smile as she let him pull her closer to the small heater. The dorms all had central heating, but having the space heater, too? Was really a nice thing right now.
