If he didn't want to stick around, Lyla really wasn't going to push the issue. She couldn't help smiling, too, when he wrapped an arm around her and she may have walked a little closer to him than she really needed to. Wanting to keep warm provided a nice excuse to stay close and she couldn't deny liking it, the way his arm had moved around her shoulders as they stepped outside.
She wrapped her arms around herself, trying to warm up as they moved inside the dorms. "Liar.. it is so freezing out there!" she whined, though she wasn't really complaining (much). It was much warmer in his dorm, even if she had to fight to not think about his joke about warming him up.
"Are you sure this is okay?" she asked, chewing her lip nervously. "Your roommate won't mind or anything? I don't want to put anyone out..."
