"That's no fun," he commented with a wrinkled nose when she told him where he was. At least, there was no way she was having as much fun as she would have if she was in his dorm room with him. "I'm also willing to bet that it's not nearly as warm as it is here." Pause. "You could come over, if you like," he told her slyly. "If you let me know when you'll be heading this way, I'll come over and walk you back."
It was silly but he found himself worrying about her since the attack. She'd been headed over to his place when it had happened and he had this strong urge to protect her from a repeat. Which was made obvious in his offer. Matt hated the cold but he was willing to go out in it to make sure that she got to his place safely.
