Riley opened her mouth for another witty retort when...well, let's just say Darin and her argument with him were completely forgotten when her cousin...no, her sister walked through that door. After the past few days and the things that had occurred, there was no better time for Sam to show up and make things okay again. She couldn't explain it, but Sam had an innate ability to do just that.
She squealed and jumped out of her chair, quickly walking over and pulling Sam into a tight hug. She held on tightly and laughed. "I'm so glad you're here, Sammich. I've missed you so much," she said quietly before pulling back to take a look at her Sammie. She shook her head and giggled some more as she reached out to touch the ribbon in Sam's hair. "You are so freaking adorable, oh my God."
Honestly? She knew that if anyone could help her forget about everything that was bothering her, it was Sam. And she was not going to waste a moment of that opportunity. She was going to spend all the time she could with her baby cousin. "When'd you get in?"
