It felt like ages since she had been in Seattle, but honestly, it hadn't been that long since Sam had been here. A couple of weeks, maybe? Or something along those lines. The fact of the matter was, she missed Riley like crazy and it seemed like now, more than ever, she needed to see one of her favorite and closest relatives.
And that, folks, would be why she was currently hopping out of a taxi, swinging her purse over her shoulder as she handed over the fare, nose scrunched. Yeah, expense. Great. She had already stopped by Riley's place to drop her things off, but now she had plans to surprise the girl at work. So here she was, tugging on the ribbon she had pulled her hair back into (she had a habit of wearing her hair like that, ever since she found out who she was) and heading towards the doors of her precinct.
Sighing softly, she chewed the inside of her bottom lip as she leaned onto her tiptoes, peering around and looking for her cousin. She didn't want to head in too much just yet! It'd be a little awkward and uncomfortable, after all, so she hung back and waited. Maybe she could ask someone where she was? That'd make things easier, anyway. Doing just that, she clutched the strap to her bag as she headed in a little more. "... Riley?"
