Unable to actually speak she simply nodded at his very correct assessment of this situation. No, Ashleigh's roommate definitelyhadn't told her about the swap... which explained why she was standing there, staring at him as if he had a third eye and an extra nose.
As silly as it was, it took every ounce of her self-control not to jump again when he actually got up off the bed. Not that he was terrifying,he really really wasn't but he was really... there and actually moving about. Which wasn't good because that simple movement ruled out any thoughts she may have been having about him being a figment of her imagination.
Ashleigh looked down at his hand when he offered it to her, swallowed, and then back up at him. She nodded again.
Okay.So. She had to get this straight in her head. Her dorm mate had moved out? And this guy had moved in? And now she had a new roommate? A new male roommate?
"I'm...I'm Ashleigh," she finally confirmed but it took another fifteen seconds before she balled her pajamas into one hand and slipped her other into his to give it a firm shake.
"You're living here, now?" she questioned, still not quite getting how this could happen over one weekend.
