When Dari had come up with the crazy idea for her to come to New Orleans for Mardi Gras, Ashleigh hadn't realized just how completely run down she'd be when she finally returned to Boston. Sure, she'd had a completely amazing, once in a life time, experience but there was no denying it, she was completely and utterly exhausted.
As much as her boyfriend would have loved for her to stay the night with him, she'd skipped classes that day and had a bit of reading she needed to do before she could finally crash. Though, with the way her feet were dragging as she made her way up to her dorm, she found herself thinking that maybe she could get up early the next morning and read it then.
Really, who flies to New Orleans for a weekend? Not this girl. Not any more. At least, that's what she told herself as she slowly lugged her suit case down the hall.
Not expecting anything out of the ordinary, she slid her key into the lock and entered the room without so much as glancing at her roommates side.
"I am.. so tired," she told her dormmate as she made her way over to her dresser. Her suit case was deposited just in front of the piece of furniture and then she began to slowly unload her pockets into the dish on top of her dresser. "I seriously think I could sleep for the rest of this week."
She pulled a pair of pajamas from her drawer, then, and turned to go to the bathroom to change. She didn't make it very far, though.
That entire side of the dorm had changed. The posters were gone and the bubble gum pink bedding. Of course, the most noticeable of all the changes was the fact that a huge guy now occupied the bed in front of her. She jumped slightly, startled by his sudden appearance, and her eyes grew wide. "Oh my gosh," she started to stutter. "I was... this... I'm so sorry." It took a full minute and a half for her to realize that she'd not accidentally entered the wrong dorm room. How could she have? After all, her side of the room was definitely her side of the room (she even looked behind her to double check this fact) and she'd used her key to open the door.
"What ... what are you doing... here?" she finally questioned.
Ashleigh knew that her roommate had a boyfriend but she hadn't been aware of the fact that she intended to move in with said boyfriend. It was safe to say that she was really not informed of this situation and the sudden appearance of some boy in her dorm was freaking her out a little.
