But there was no knocking sense into Marlene. It didn't work that way. The more you pushed her toward one thing, the more she wanted to do something else. How did Rhi know this? Well, Rhi wasn't exactly that much different from Lene, was she? They were both temperamental, indecisive and incredibly dramatic. Lene was just...well, Rhi knew she was more attractive. It wasn't low self-esteem on her part, or anything. Rhi knew she was hot. But Lene was gorgeous.
But...yeah. Let's forget about Lene, shall we? That's what Rhi wanted to help Nate do. Forget about Lene.
Rhi smirked as she shut the door behind Nate and turned, giving a shrug. "If it's speed you want, a shot to the head would be more efficient. Just go outside so you don't get any blood on the carpet," she teased and walked through to the living room. Once again? Rhi knew Nate pretty darn well. She knew when he was being his snarky self. Honestly, she found it incredibly amusing and loved to joke back.
"Decorating?" She laughed a little and sat down on the couch. "Dad's busy with his show, I'm domestically inept and mother never cared enough about this place to change anything about it." She leaned back into the cushions. "I suppose we could hire someone, but I like it the way it is."
