Who: Jase Forrester, Leah White, Brendan (NPC), and eventually Milena Adams What: AWKARD, MUCH? Umm, too fun to not thread Where: Plane -> Seattle Airport When: Saturday Night, Around Midnight (I researched actual flights for the time :P) Rating: PG, I'm sure Status: Incomplete | Umm, open to whoever else might be at the airport at that time? (I figure a couple of rounds of Jase and Leah and Millie can jump in once they get past security to meet her)
Jase all but clung to Leah's hand. It might seem odd or awkward, considering recent events and considering the way they'd yelled at each other over journals, but the news about Jenny had come and it seemed like everything else was forgotten. No matter how vehemently he'd told her she didn't have to, Jase was glad Leah had insisted on coming with him. It felt like, at the moment, the near death grip he had on her hand right now was the only thing keeping him grounded.
It wasn't even just that he hated flying - which he did - because that was the least of his worries right now. His sister was in intensive care and he didn't know much more than that. Jase was scared and anyone who knew him well at all knew he didn't get that way often. Maybe that's how he'd gotten away with holding Leah's hand in the first place. He wasn't questioning it right now, because he was busy being grateful for the contact.
He'd barely said a word since they'd boarded the plane and that really didn't change now that they were finally landing, moving down the runway toward their gate. Jase just let out a quiet sigh, closing his eyes for a moment as he tried push his emotions down below the surface. His family needed him to be.. him. They definitely didn't need him falling apart here.
