"Midori Sour it is, then." He could have easily mixed her something unforgettable, with an interesting name... but typically, doling out drinks with complicated names rarely lead to repeat business -- mostly because patrons couldn't remember what the drink was called after they'd had three or four. Max wasn't terribly concerned with Julia's business, but he would make her something tasty that wouldn't disappoint.
He wasn't great at flair bartending. In fact, he dropped more bottles than he actually caught. But he could flip bottles around in his hand, still keeping control. Max stepped back to the bar and grabbed the bottle of melon liqueur and the sweet and sour mix, making the drink quickly and cleanly.
"Plenty of flavor, a little bit of fruit, and a little bit of kick for the birthday girl," Max said, sliding the glass across the bar to her. He replaced the bottles, then returned to his beer. "How'd you spend your birthday, anyway? Do anything fun?"
