Caleb had come back from his lunch break early, eager to get away from yet another girl breaking his heart. She didn't want him and he'd have to deal with that. Eventually he'd get past his feelings for her and they could get back to normal. However, she was on the floor and behind the bar before he knew it.
We need to talk ASAP. That didn't sound promising. Caleb went about the next few hours as silently as possible. He flirted with the cougars as they came up, making sure to get a nice tip out of them. Then it was time for his 15 minute break, which just happened to coincide with Ana leaving for the night tonight. This should be fun.
Sitting down on the couch in the break room, he put his head against the back of it and against the wall. Keeping his eyes shut, Caleb was going to try and pretend that the impending talk wasn't coming. That Ana wasn't going to completely cut off all hope that he'd formed for them. Sitting there... he waited.
