Tony let out a cough, trying not to look too uncomfortable when she called him 'daddy dearest'. He didn't want to hurt Gianna's feelings, so he didn't comment on it directly, but he wasn't quite ready for that kind of candor.
"I'd like to see your shop," he said finally, pushing his lips into a small smile. "Especially if there are some samples in it for me." Tony looked at Gus, not actually asking for his son's permission to go, but sort of acknowledging that he knew that Gus was ultimately responsible for him. It wasn't something he liked to admit, and he never would do so verbally.
Gus shrugged, glancing at the dishes that Gianna had whisked away from in front of him to wash. He never saw anything wrong with leaving a few dirty dishes around for awhile. But they were different, he supposed. He also supposed that no matter what his thoughts were about whether his dad went to the bakery or not, he'd do what he wanted anyway.
"I've got some paperwork to catch up on," Gus said, glancing towards his room. It was probably something that could have waited until he got to the shop tomorrow morning, but he saw an opportunity to not stick around the two of them together, and he took it.
