Ashleigh was comfortable, warm, hidden under his blankets, and completely surrounded by the smell of them. Honestly, it felt far too good and a part of her didn't want to let that go.
When he spoke again, his words slowly sunk in. She realized what he was saying and a smile crossed her features long before her eyes actually opened. "Thank you, baby," she mumbled.
She tilted her fact up to return the kiss he brushed softly over her lips and she sighed when she finally, really, opened her eyes for him.
"Morning," she murmured, her smile still large. She was awake, now, but her attention was still focused on the boy. "You're awake early."
