Tutoring was nothing new to Jack. In fact, he's been tutoring others in subjects all across the board ever since he can remember! Usually, it's science he's tutoring kids in, but since he agreed to tutor someone in U.S. History, it looks as though he'll be switching from his normal subject matter into a new field. He didn't really understand how difficult U.S. could be though - until he heard that the girl he was to be tutoring was from Britain. It was understandable that she'd be having trouble; Jack wasn't that great at British History himself.
He arrived at the library earlier than planned, sought out an empty table and claimed it as his own. Jack pulled up his books onto the table and cracked one open, burying himself into the text. Minutes seemed to fly past him as he traveled through time, finding himself landing smack dab in the middle of American history. He was concentrating so much on the words in front of him he almost didn't look up when she called out his name.
"Yeah, that's me," he smiled, looking down from her just for a moment to mark the page he was on. "Nice to mee you, Rory," he said as he reached out to take her hand in a shake.
