Again, her brow furrowed with concern when he said that he had a lot on his mind. She knew that she couldn't push him to talk to her about what all had gone on that night but she really hoped that he knew she would be there for him if he needed her.
She'd just been about to give up on getting that stick of spearmint when his hand had took hold of her wrist and pulled her close. Not just close, mind you, but close enough to make her heart skip a beat.
When he looked at her the way that he did, Ana tried to tell herself that she was seriously misjudging the situation, that he was not thinking the same things she was, that she definitely shouldn't get her hopes up. However, his lips began moving towards, almost as if the entire world had slowed down for this moment and it seemed like an hour passed before their mouths finally met in a kiss.
She wasn't the type to spout poetry and romantic nonsense but, freaking hell, she was certain her knees were going to turn to jelly.
She inhaled deeply as she returned the kiss. It was truly too amazing for her to think logically, for her to ask what had come over him. She would never admit to it but she had thought about this many times since they'd met and... really, she thought the actual experience was better than anything she'd imagined.
