It was safe to say that Brian had never met anyone quite like Clarice. Not even Marissa when she was pregnant had been so crazy over food. The wilder she got, the more she screamed, the funnier it was.
He braced himself, but she'd started grabbing ahold of his arms and trying to pull him from the door frame. Normally, it wouldn't have done any good, but something about the spastic way she was doing it made him lose his footing for just a moment -- the most inopportune of moments. He fumbled right as she tugged on his arm, and the backwards motion sent him toppling forward.
